Vernon, British Columbia - Tolko Marketing and Sales Ltd. (TMS), subsidiary of Tolko Industries Ltd. (Tolko), today announced Jonathan Rogers has accepted the position of General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Engineered Wood Products, effective September 5, 2006.

Jonathan will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Tolko’s engineered wood sector and will be instrumental in shaping the growth of the company’s expanding suite of products.

For over twelve years Jonathan has been in sales and marketing management at LP Building Products. He has also had an executive leadership role in the engineered wood products (EWP) business, with the last six years as National Sales & Marketing Director. Jonathan holds an Honours Degree from Reading University, England.

Tolko Industries Ltd., parent of TMS, announced last month a C$35 million I-joist project for a location yet to be set in western Canada and has a $250 million engineered wood products mill under construction near Slave Lake, Alberta.
