Tolko announces major donation to BC Wildlife Park
Vernon, BC – Tolko Industries Ltd. announced a donation today of $90,000.00 to the BC Wildlife Park. The funds will be used in the Park’s Discovery Centre which focuses on interactive displays depicting British Columbia’s ecosystems.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting new facility and partner with the BC Wildlife Park as they create a showcase for tourists and local residents to learn more about British Columbia’s ecosystems, wildlife and sustainable forest practices,” says Randy Chan, Tolko’s Vice President & General Manager Environment and Forestry. “Tolko is committed to sustainable forest management and we look forward to this opportunity to provide more information about our company’s commitment to the forest resource, the province of British Columbia, and our operating communities.
