The exterior grade plywood used in the harvest bins is manufactured with composed or welded core called UNI-COR. This eliminates core voids, overlaps and open gaps traditionally found in manufactured plywood. A composed core also prevents water from entering through the edges of plywood, thus eliminating swelling and expansion and extending the life expectancy of the harvest bins. All Tolko plywood is screened for delamination with state of the art computerized ultrasonic blister detectors. Panels that do not meet the quality criteria are rejected.

Bins are dipped in a latex sealant (safe for organic growers) to protect them from moisture penetration and ensure maximum longevity of the harvest bins.
