EMS
Manitoba Woodlands Environmental Management
System (EMS) was successfully audited to the internationally recognized
ISO 14001 standard in November, 2002.
Manitoba Kraft Paper has successfully upgraded
registration of their Quality Management System (QMS) to the internationally
recognized ISO 9001-2000 standard in 2003. The mill is currently
planning the expansion of their management system to include their
environmental and health & safety processes. The target date
for this is by the end of 2005.
CSA-SFM
Manitoba initiated the CSA-Z809-02 Sustainable
Forest Management Plan process in 2003 and was successfully registered
to this standard in October 2004.
